There is some good news for Filipino travellers!

More countries have opened up to Filipino tourists as the world struggles to make sense of the COVID-19 virus.

Here are nations that have welcomed tourists from the Philippines:

 

Egypt

Rules:

    • RT-PCR test result
    • Unvaccinated Travelers: RT-PCR Test taken 72 hours before departure
    • 6 years old and below are exempt
    • Travelers arriving from Japan, China, Thailand, North America, South America, USA, Canada, London Heathrow, Paris, and Frankfurt can have their RT-PCR test taken in 96 hours due to the length of travel time
    • Fully Vaccinated Travelers: present vaccination certificate/card
    • Health declaration form duly signed
    • Travel insurance with COVID-19 coverage
    • No quarantine for those testing negative (14-day quarantine for those testing positive)
    • Visa: Required

    • 10 years old and below are exempt
    • No quarantine

Namibia

    • Rules:
    • Negative RT-PCR test result taken 72 hours before departure
    • 5 years old and below are exempt
    • Quarantine
    • Unvaccinated Travelers: Required
    • Fully Vaccinated Travelers: NOT Required
    • COVID-Surveillance form
    • Health declaration form
    • No quarantine
    • Visa: Required

Niger

    • Rules:
    • Negative RT-PCR test result taken 72 hours before departure
    • 7-day quarantine
    • Required to take a COVID-19 test (free of cost) at the end of quarantine
    • Yellow Fever Vaccination
    • Visa required

Nigeria

Rules:

    • Negative RT-PCR test result taken 72 hours before departure
    • 10 years old and below are exempt
    • If you have travel history in Brazil, India, South Africa, or Turkey 14 days before your arrival, you must take an additional PCR test within 24 hours after your arrival
    •  7-day quarantine
    • Required to take a COVID-19 test at the end of quarantine and must remain isolated until results are released
    • Health declaration form duly signed
    • Visa: Required

Rwanda

Rules:

    • Negative RT-PCR test result taken 72 hours before departure
    • You will be tested again on arrival (USD$50)
    • 7-day quarantine
    • Booking in designated hotels
    • Public Health Passenger Locator Form
    • Negative RT-PCR test result taken 96 hours before departure
    • No quarantine
    • Visa on arrival provided there is an approval letter from your hotel or tour agent

South Africa

Rules:

    • Negative RT-PCR test result taken 72 hours before departure
    • 5 years old and below are exempt
    • Health Declaration form duly signed
    • No quarantine
    • 10 day-quarantine IF you test positive upon arrival

Tanzania

Rules:

    • Negative RT-PCR test result taken 72 hours before departure
    • Health Surveillance form duly signed

    • e-visa or Visa on Arrival for 90 days

Zambia

Rules:

    • Negative RT-PCR test result taken 72 hours before departure
    • If you have been to India, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Iran, Iraq, Netherlands, Peru, Spain, Tunisia, and Turkey, you must take a COVID-19 PCR test within 48 hours of your arrival
    • No quarantine

Botswana

    • Rapid antigen test only upon arrival (free of cost)
    • No quarantine
    • 14 day-quarantine IF you test positive upon arrival

Burkina Faso

Rules:

    • Negative RT-PCR test result taken 120 hours or 5 days before departure
    • No quarantine unless you test positive upon arrival
    • Visa Required

Chad

Rules:

    • Negative RT-PCR test result taken 72 hours before departure
    • 11 years old and below are exempt
    • 7-day quarantine (not applicable for those who plan to leave within 7 days)
    • Subject to undertake a COVID-19 test on the 7th day(costs 15,000 FCFA/approx. USD$30)
    • Passports will be returned after release of test results
    • Visa: Required

    • Visa-free for 6 months
